As Chair of the Newport Planning Board Kim Salerno ushered the completion of the 2017 Comprehensive Plan. She led City leadership discussion across all content areas for almost two years, resulting in a robust community led planning document with place-specific policy and guidance. The 2017 Comprehensive Plan was approved by Statewide Planning on May 3, 2017 and received an award from APA RI. For more information visit:
